Consulting for HOK

HOK architects hired Gilda Puente-Peters Architects to be the accessibility consultants working as part of the project design team for all phases of the new replacement Kaiser Permanente Hospital project.

Project tasks include the coordination of the project phasing and make ready projects, selected accessibility field inspections and reports. GPPA attended project team meetings, conducted peer reviews of working drawings and specifications, and provided advice on possible solutions and best practices. GPPA provided code interpretations and clarifications as well as accessibility review of the signage program. Our tasks include field inspections during construction and preparation of accessibility punch lists to ensure the completed buildings are compliant, accessible and useable by persons with disabilities.
